The No Touch Thermometer is currently used in Hospitals across the board
in different wards, from infectious diseases units, coronary care
(heart) units, recovery units, children’s wards and maternity both by
doctors nurses and midwifes.
Since 2005 the No Touch Thermometer has been enabling Doctors, Nurses
and Midwifes to measure temperature of patients with out any contact at
all. This allow them to avoid cross contamination by eliminating direct
contact with sick patients. Also ideal for the uncooperative patients,
such as young scared children.
The
No Touch Thermometer
is ideal when patients are asleep; there is no need to wake them up. It
makes it easy to use with newborns by eliminating the need to undress
and disturb them when attempting to use any other stiff cold thermometer
under arm for few long minutes.
